The breadth of facilities demonstrates the college's financial investment and importance of providing its students with the best learning environment to equip them in readiness for employment or university.
Facilities include: An indoor equine arena; A training restaurant (Merlin's Restaurant); Hair and beauty salons; A new construction centre and automotive engineering centre; Dance studio, CAD/CAM suites, an engineering centre, Cast iron foundry; Textile technologies; All-weather sports pitch; Fitness and sports science testing facilities; Roland Academy; Media studio; Mac suites; Language labs; Agricultural campus with working farm and learning resource centres with access to the internet and the most up-to-date Microsoft software.
The facilities are spread across our five campuses where different subject areas are taught. For example, Ammanford is the hub for all construction courses and houses various bays for electrical, gas and solar courses whereas at Pibwrlwyd campus, you'll find catering students spending an evening a week at the training restaurant serving the public or spending their time offering treatments to clients in the hair and beauty salon. Each campus has its own individual learning environment and it is recommended that prospective students view the facilities at an open evening where they can also talk to teaching and support staff.
