Film archive: provides access to a large range of films on art produced in the UK since the 1950s; is a unique record of British and international post-war art, as well as documentary film-making in the UK

 SOUNDS

Database: a selection of sound recordings from all over the world covering the entire range of recorded sound - music, drama and literature, oral history, wildlife and environmental sounds

On and off campus: go straight to British Library Sounds
FE/HE learners can access the complete Sounds catalogue. Just do your search, do NOT tick the box against "Only recordings everyone can search". Click on your selected recording. There is a red box in the right hand menu of the recording of your choice. Click on "Get access now" and log in using your Coleg Sir Gâr username and password.

British Periodicals

Database: periodicals from the late C17th - early C20th with millions of high-resolution facsimile page images. Topics covered include literature, history, science, social sciences, music, art and drama

Digimap for colleges

Provides access to a range of up to date Ordnance Survey digital mapping for Great Britain. You can access detailed maps showing building outlines, street level maps, road atlas style maps and maps for outdoor activities

Digital Theatre Plus offers streamed films of leading British theatre productions for educational use in schools, colleges and universities. Each production is supported by additional content, including interviews with the creative and production teams and written study guides.
