You’ll be continually assessed and there is an expectation that you will continue your studies and coursework during your own time.
Application of everyday science
· A well balanced curriculum covering aspects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.
This is an ideal course for progression to higher education. Students can progress to study degrees in various disciplines of Science including medical genetics, biology, forensic science, criminology and biochemistry. Students would need to sit at least 1 other A Level alongside this course.

In addition to a minimum of 7 GCSEs at grades A* - C, you will need a minimum of a C in GCSE Maths, a grade C in GCSE English and grade C in Double Award Science is essential.
Entry for mature students without formal qualifications is at the discretion of the Curriculum Area.
Entry for students with BTEC Science level 2 will be considered on a case by case basis.
You will have access to a range of equipment and resources which will be sufficient to complete our programme of study, however you will need to provide your own course folder.
All learners are required to pay an administration fee of £45.00 prior to enrolment.
