Inspire Learners, Fulfill Potential and Achieve Excellence Through a Culture of Inclusivity
Coleg Sir Gar and Coleg Cerdigion has a dedicated support team to support learners with additional learning needs, disabilities and medical needs.
Learning Support staff are available on every campus to support learners with their studies. We embrace and celebrate neurodiversity and, as a college, welcome learners with diverse ways of learning to our inclusive learning environment. Our team works closely with curriculum staff to ensure that teaching and learning is accessible for all learners. All support is designed to build your independence in the college environment and beyond.
We have a person-centred approach - your learning, aspirations and wishes are at the heart of your journey at college. You will be included in the process of planning your support, decision making and reviewing your support. Each campus has a Study Zone where learners can work in a quiet and supportive environment.
It is very important that, if you are planning on attending college, that you advise us of your support needs with at the earliest stage possible and prior to your interview. This is because we want to be certain that we can meet your support needs before you join our courses.
