Update - 25 May 2022:
Starting from the morning of Monday, 6 June 2022 until the last day of term, your Carmarthen bus stop will be temporarily relocated. This is because Carmarthenshire County Council are carrying out road works at the bus station between Monday, 6 June 2022 and Tuesday, 12 July 2022.
Update - 25 April 2022:
Whilst the wearing of face coverings is not mandatory, it is recommended that they are worn by learners (unless medically exempt) when travelling on college contracted buses and taxis.
No one will be refused travel if a face covering is not worn.
Should a learner require authorised exemption not to wear a face covering (due to medical conditions), then the learner can apply to the named College contacts in Student Services.
Important Update - As from Monday, 6 September 2021:
College Contract Buses – learners MUST have a bus pass and will be unable to travel without a valid pass.
Public Service Buses – learners MUST pay the bus fare, which may be reclaimed at Campus Office on production of a valid ticket and subject to validation checks. We will contact relevant learners at their college email account with more details.
For public service buses, check www.traveline.cymru or call 0800 464 00 00 for updates on bus timetables.
All Learners - Travelling by Bus or Taxi
Please try and make your own transport arrangements to and from college, travelling with members of your household or extended household.
If feasible, consider walking or cycling. These are the safest and healthiest options for you, especially at this time.
We are in exceptional circumstances and ask everyone to be patient. Measures are implemented to minimise the risk of transmission of the COVID19 virus for all travelling in college buses and taxis. The safety of everyone is paramount at this time.
New and returning students must apply for student transport every year. There is no carry forward.
Applying for a college bus travel pass is done during enrolment, there is no separate application form. If you haven't been contacted about enrolment, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. If you are a full-time further education learner and have already received your username, you can apply for transport at https://apply.colegsirgar.ac.uk/
