We hope this information helps you. If you’re unable to find the answer to your question, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

What courses do you offer?

We offer a wide range of full time courses including A-Level and vocational programmes. We also offer apprenticeships, part time programmes of study and short courses.

What can I do when I have finished my course?

Many of our learners progress to university, in Wales and further afield. All learners are supported with their UCAS applications through one-to-one Tutorials.

The college has excellent links with Oxbridge and Russell Group universities and through our ACE programme and the Seren network, students are fully prepared for application and interview.

The college also supports learners into employment, and we have developed excellent links with industry. We offer apprenticeship routes in a wide range of sectors.

Careers guidance is available through Tutorial one-to-one interviews, and via Careers Wales.

What are UCAS points and what do they mean?

UCAS Tariff points translate your qualifications and grades into a numerical value. Many qualifications (but not all) have a UCAS Tariff value, which will vary dependent on the qualification size, and the grade you achieved.

Some universities, colleges, and conservatoires refer to UCAS Tariff points in their course entry requirements, but this doesn’t mean they won’t consider qualifications that don’t appear on the Tariff, so it’s advisable to check the course entry requirements carefully.

You can look up your UCAS Tariff points by finding your qualifications on the UCAS Tariff point calculator via the following website https://www.ucas.com/ucas/tariff-calculator

What are your policies regarding conduct and attendance?

Policies relating to the Code of Conduct, Disciplinary System, Attendance and Absence Monitoring Procedures can be found here.

Does the college provide any an extra support to learners?

We pride ourselves on the level of support available. We have a team of trained mentors and counsellors to provide 1:1 confidential support on a range of wellbeing issues.

We also provide support for learning for people with Additional Needs.  This support includes 1:1 specialist teaching, providing exam concessions, classroom LSA support and help with specialist equipment and software.

If learners have had support in school, it is more than likely we can provide this during their time in college. This support could include:

  • 1:1 or group support with a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) in class
  • Additional time for external examinations/assessments
  • Dyslexia support and guidance
  • Mentoring and counselling support
  • A quiet area during the day
