Principles of Plant Growth, Health and Applied Propagation Level 3

Programme Description

This is a theory based course. It will be run over a year with an end of year exam as the assessment method.

It can be delivered in the day or evening depending on need.

Programme Content

Plant taxonomy, structure and function (5 credits)

The root environment,plant nutrition and growing systems (5 credits)

The management of plant health (3 credits)

Understanding applied plant propagation (2 credits)

Programme Assessment

All outcomes will be assessed with a written exam

Programme Entry Requirements

Whilst there is no formal entry requirements, it is advisable to have completed the Level 2 Theory course first.

Additional Costs

All learners are required to pay an administration fee of £45 prior to enrolment.

You will need to provide your own stationery and may also incur costs if the department arranges educational visits.
