The course will provide you with an enjoyable, stimulating and challenging learning experience, with an emphasis placed on developing practical skills that are required by a modern vehicle mechanic.
The programme also focuses on improving your confidence, employability and entrepreneurship prospects.
You will also be allocated a personal tutor who will support your with your progress and provide you with pastoral care for the duration of the programme.
The programme is delivered by a team of experienced teaching practitioners, who are also vocationally qualified and occupationally experienced.

During the academic year, learners have opportunities to undertake work experience, enabling your to develop, consolidate and apply your studies. Also, you will have the opportunity to attend educational visits that aim to enrich your studies, inspire learning and raise aspirations.
Successful completion of the programme provides progression to the level three Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or an apprenticeship programme.
