The Construction Management / Quantity surveying apprenticeships offers students an understanding of the design techniques, methodology and implementation of projects from inception to Client handover, drawing upon UK and worldwide case studies to build knowledge in practical application and professional skills for employment.

Edexcel Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Construction Management (Sustainability)
Essential Skills

This programme will meet industry demands, and in doing so provide a sound intellectually demanding vocational learning experience linked to industry and professional bodies, a requirement that satisfies the needs of both students and employers.
Furthermore, the programme team has developed the aims of the course to enhance the development of technical competence and training at a level which is capable of meeting the industry’s current requirements for middle management.
Module outcomes address concerns such as sustainability, energy efficiency, facilities management along with the more familiar outcomes such as management theories, literacy, problem-solving and client needs. Supplementing these is a range of higher level skills which have been designed to integrate with module outcomes.

Higher National diploma – Written exam, Set tasks/Synoptic assessment
Essential skills – Online/centre based assessments

Apprenticeships in Wales are fully funded, if eligible.
Entry Requirements
All apprentices must be of employed status and fully supported and endorsed by the employer and hold a relevant Level 3 qualification and ideally have C or above grades in Maths and English at GCSE level.
Candidates will be required to complete Essential Skills Qualifications in Application of Number, Communication and Digital Literacy.
Apprenticeships are suitable for both new and existing employees.
