A-level art exhibition at open evening

A-level students at Coleg Sir Gâr are showcasing their end of year work in an exhibition which will be open to the public at the college’s next open evening in July.

Work from A-level courses in graphics, art craft and design, textiles and photography will be on display for potential students to view and discuss course options with tutors.

This creative and successful programme has this year seen students progressing to University of the Arts London, Coventry University and locally Swansea University and University of South Wales to study the arts, automotive design and teaching.

These A-level programmes aims for every learner to develop their own unique voice using visual imagery, applying technical and contextual understanding confidently to realise their intentions.

Technical and creative skills are addressed equally in a professional learning environment where dialogue, experimentation and enjoyment underline the entire curriculum.

Coleg Sir Gâr’s open evening will be held on Thursday, July 4 from 5pm to 7.30pm on all campuses.

The exhibition is at the college’s Graig campus in Llanelli.
