Meet your Coleg Sir Gâr  and Coleg Ceredigion employability coaches Ffion Fox and Becky Timbrell. They are here to help and support you within all employability sectors, from career pathways to finding work and everything in between.

 Ffion and Becky have answered all the questions you might have regarding employability support in Coleg Sir Gar and Coleg Ceredigion and here’s what they said.

What do you offer to students?

We offer 1:1 support, workshops and events - within these we offer a range of support from creating/amending your CV, applying for part time / full time employment to helping you find your career pathway whether that is continuing your education in Coleg Sir Gâr, Coleg Ceredigion, university or going straight into work. We can help with identifying your employability skills and developing yourself.

We will be holding events with local businesses and employers so you get to meet those who are in your desired industry. Over the next few months we may also be coming into your class to meet with you and present workshops to develop your skills such as interview techniques, positivity and motivation.

If a student is having issues with a course or needs help in their next step after college, how can you help them?

If you are having issues with your current course, or just need any general advice for your next steps, we can meet on a 1:2:1 confidential basis where we can have a chat about your options. We can also present you with different opportunities and experience, in which you can explore different routes and pathways.
