Worshipful Company of Plaisterers’ UK Award

The plastering team at Coleg Sir Gâr’s Ammanford campus have been recognised with a UK-award for the third year running.

Winning the prestigious Sir John Pirie Cup at the Plaisterers’ Training Awards in London, this award recognises smaller colleges who have the highest percentage of learners achieving level two NVQ qualifications in the UK.

The Plaisterers’ Training Awards recognise the highest standards of achievement in training and education within the UK plastering trade.

The awards are organised by the Worshipful Company of Plaisterers, one of the ancient livery companies of the City of London and winners are invited to celebrate at an event at their great hall.

Ian Law, head of section for construction at Coleg Sir Gâr said: “To win this award for the third year in a row is a fantastic achievement and shows the hard work and dedication of a team that is committed to delivering the highest quality of training in the sector.”
